Arctic Ocean

Fly to the northern tip of continental North America, experience Inuit culture, dip your toe in the Arctic Ocean and take a boat trip on the ocean out to the icebergs! We partner with a local Inuit tour operator will be your personal tour guide for this once in a lifetime experience.

On this trip you will fly from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories to the Inuit community of Kugluktuk in Nunavut.

Here you will get a firsthand opportunity to experience the amazing and resilient Inuit culture!

Take a boat trip and visit the Kugluk/Bloody Falls Territorial Park, a significant historical spot visitd by explorer Samuel Hearne back in 1771.

Experience traditional Inuit games and traditional Inuit foods.

Visit the community and walk on the Arctic Tundra, boat out to an iceberg on the Arctic Ocean and maybe even get to see a Beluga Whale!

We offer both day and weekend packages for this Adventure.

Day Tour

8:00 am – Depart Yellowknife

9:15 am – Arrive Kugluktuk, Nunavut

9:30 am – Meet guides and tour community

10:00 am – Boat trip to Kugluk/Bloody Falls Park

12:00 pm – Lunch in town

1:00 pm – Boat trip out on Arctic Ocean

3:00 pm – Inuit games demonstration

4:00 pm – Inuit culture

5:00 pm – Depart Kugluktuk

6:30 pm – Arrive Yellowknife
