View one of the natural wonders of the world, the amazing Aurora Borealis! Yellowknife is famous for being the best location in the world to view the Auroras. We offer our guests a more personalized Aurora viewing experience. Same day bookings are our specialty. We offer pick up and drop off service to all hotels or B&Bs at no extra charge. For our Aurora Hunting tour, we take you out in our very comfortable Ford SUV Expedition MAX (seats 8) and "hunt" for the Aurora! When we reach our destination we park and view the Aurora. Here we tell you about the science of Aurora as well we talk about our Aboriginal stories and legends of the Aurora. We also talk about the northern sky and identify the many constellations.

We make our decision to go at 9:00 pm each night. If the weather is not cooperating then we recommend a no go, if skies are clear then we go! However even during clouded skies we go out and "hunt" for the Aurora, we may go out quite a distance to find skies with no cloud cover.
