Buffalo & Waterfalls Road Adventure

This is a nice 2 day tour that showcases wild buffalo, Aboriginal culture, the Mackenzie River and of course Lady Evelyn, Alexandra and Louis Falls, what a great tour!

Day One Morning: Depart Yellowknife for Fort Providence, stopping at North Arm Park, Chan Lake Park and arriving at Fort Providence just in time for lunch.

Afternoon: Enjoy a short tour of the Aboriginal community of Fort Providence and then its off to Twin Falls Park to enjoy Alxeandra and Louis Falls, we spend 2-3 hours here. Great photo opportunities.

Evening: Drive into Hay River to enjoy the community, relax and spend the evening.

Day Two Morning: After breakfast, we head out to Lady Evelyn Falls arriving about 10:30 am. After getting some great pictures, we soon cross the Mackenzie River on the ferry and back into Fort Providence just in time for lunch.

Afternoon: After lunch you will experience the local Aboriginal culture and go for a boat ride on the Mackenzie River with a local tour operator.

Evening: After an adventurous afternoon in the community of Fort Providence, we get back on the road to enjoy viewing buffalo on the drive back home arriving back in Yellowknife early evening just in time for dinner.
