Drive the winter and ice roads of Canada's north! This drive takes you from the modern capitol city of Yellowknife to the small, isolated traditional Aboriginal community of Colville Lake almost 1,700kms away, the end of the road! Drive over the Arctic Circle, experience dangerously low freezing temperatures of -50 C, long stretches of highway without any services or many hours without any traffic. Fort Simpson is about 630kms away and to get there we need to cross 2 rivers, the Mackenzie and Liard Rivers by ferry. Enhance you Deh Cho Road Adventure and choose one or more Options, such as drive to the end of the road to a small Aboriginal community of Wrigley, about 225kms from Fort Simpson or fly into the world famous Nahanni National Park option!
