Have a few hours to spare? Your meetings finished early? How about a comfortable boat tour in and around the Yellowknife area? Let us take you on a 2 hour or 4 hour boat tour and learn about the history of Yellowknife and about the local Aboriginal people!

We use a 2010 20 ft Harbercraft equipment with a 130hp Honda, marine radio, GPS and fire extinguisher. We can comfortably seat 8 guests.

 

1 hour tour

For this tour we take you on a comfortable ride on Back Bay, Yellowknife Bay and then we head out to the Indian village of Dettah and then back to Yellowknife.

We also pick you up at your hotel or B&B and bring you back.

2 hour tour

For this tour we take you on a comfortable ride on Back Bay, Yellowknife Bay and then we head out to the Indian village of Dettah and out on the Great Slave Lake and then back to Yellowknife.

3 hour tour

For this tour we take you on a comfortable ride on Back Bay, Yellowknife Bay and then we head out to the Indian village of Dettah and out on the Great Slave Lake.

On this tour, we will stop at our island, Spruce Gum Island and hike the island while our guides talk about our Dene culture; then back to Yellowknife.

We also pick you up at your hotel or B&B and bring you back.

4 hour tour

For this tour we take you on a comfortable ride on Back Bay, Yellowknife Bay and then we head out to the Indian village of Dettah and out on the Great Slave Lake to our fish nets.

Here you will observe us check our fishnets and then we will bring our catch to our camp that is set up on Spruce Gum Island where our guides will prepare a fresh, delicious shore lunch of pan fried fish for you.

Also while on the island we will do a Nature Walk with a great view of the Great Slave Lake! We will pick you up at your hotel or B&B and bring you back.
